Protect and Strengthen the Persecuted

Monday, February 14 – Syria

Many Muslims who come to Christ face grave dangers from relatives and neighbors. Local missionaries recently helped relocate a woman who faced threats on her life because she put her faith in Christ. Another Christian suffered physically at the hands of relatives, and she was also emotionally hurt that they felt shamed because she had left Islam – even as she experienced the power and care of the loving Lord. The persecution against her grew so intense that workers had to relocate her out of the country. Local missionaries rely on donations to relocate and provide aid to such persecuted Christians. Pray for the Lord’s presence and comfort to strengthen Christians under pressure.

“Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.” (Matthew 5:11)
